The world is in
turmoil as wars
rage across the
lands. The
Dragon Cults,
filled with
fanatics devoted
to one of five
evil dragons
that they view
as gods, blanket
all they see in
darkness. The
Knights of the
Copper Scale,
serving
Ky'Lewdar the
good and
honorable copper
dragon, stand in
the way of the
cults trying to
protect the
innocent folk of
the world.
Meanwhile the
Elves and
Dwarves have
their hands full
as the Brood of
Gruumsh, an
orcish hoard,
wage a never
ending holocaust
against them. In
the western
portion of the
mainland the
Gnomes are
locked in a
bloody struggle
with the
Goblinoid
Armies. Already
two of the
hollowed out
spires that the
Gnomes use as
their home have
fallen, and now
are home to
smelly goblins
and bugbears. In
the Bog of Gloom
and Fog the
Lizadren use
their clubs and
spears to fend
off the
Troglodyte
warriors that
try to end their
existance. Deep
in the Jungles
of Deep Shadow
the taferrians,
or cat-folk to
most others,
wall themselves
and their
village
in...hoping to
keep their
savage ogre
enemies out. The
hateful fued
between to half
brother gods
have spilled
down into the
world as white
knights, and
evil black
knights clash in
battle. All this
carries on
across the
mainland, as
whispers and
rumors of a
darker and
fouler scourge
prepares to
cover the world
in death. |

The
druids
of the
world
try to
keep
nature
in
balance
as many,
especially
the Cult
of
Koy'dras,
attempt
to turn
it
against
them.
The six
groves
ally
together
even
though
their
views on
how
harshly
to
defend
nature
differs,
they are
able to
put
those
differences
aside to
keep
nature
in
balance.
The
Pirate
Isles
are rife
with
civilization's
most
degenerate
denizens,
attacking
those
out on
the sea,
and
raiding
cities
for what
they
want.
Yet the
Silver
Ravens,
a pirate
crew
that
call
Port
Kendrahl
home,
sail the
Cerullean
Sea
thwarting
pirate
raids
and
doing
all they
can to
keep the
seas
safe.
The dry
scrubland
continent
of
Windasher
is the
native
home of
halflings,
living
along
the
northern
and
eastern
coastline
in small
dock
villages.
Many of
the
small
folk
stay in
their
villages
safe
from the
hyenas
prowling
the
plains,
yet many
have too
adventurous
a heart.
Along
the edge
of the
Arid
Badlands
a pair
of
temples
stand,
on
opposite
sides of
the
island,
and are
where
the Sand
Orcs
dwell.
Unlike
the
other
orcs of
the
world
the sand
orcs
live
peaceful,
monk-like
lives
keeping
their
minds
and
bodies
finely
tuned.
No one
on
Windasher
are
aware of
the
threat
looming
over
them, as
a
mysterious
entity
brings
the
mummies
and
corpses
to life
within
eerie
pyramids
in the
southern
portion
of the
Arid
Badlands.
